Early Years Practitioner

Red Bus works very hard to be an exceptional place for children and also an exceptional place for staff to work. We value our staff very much and this means that they tend to stay with us for a long time, developing their careers, growing their own families and generally growing with us.

Our Flax Bourton setting only opened in June 2022 and it is already an amazing place. It is situated within beautiful grounds in a lovely leafy area. We really take care of our environments too, we are very well resourced and our parents tell us what an amazing place Red Bus is for their children.

We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner in each of our age groups :

Nursery (up to 2 years)

Kindergarten (2-3 years)

Pre-School (3-5 years)

Our Practitioners strive to be great at their job, whether they have just qualified, qualified some time ago and want to get back into childcare, or if they have solid experience already as a Practitioner. Suported in their age group by their own room management team, our teams work very closely together, supporting each other, feeling valued and working in very positive and happy teams.

To apply you should also hold at least a Level 2 Early Years qualification.

What Red bus can offer you :

- an excellent salary and benefits package (including up to 36 days holiday per year which includes paid time off over Christmas, social events, team bonding, staff recognition scheme, sick pay scheme, and much more ... );

- a passionate organisation who work hard to do everything well;

- very friendly teams who work together;

- excellent support from management;

- a leadership team who actively engage with staff and involve them in decisions about the setting and working conditions, etc;

- excellent training and development opportunities;

- a very secure business who are thriving despite today's challenges in the marketplace.

If you want to work in a very positive place with team members who support each other and want to really enjoy what you do at work, please apply to Red Bus for either a fast response through to interview, or alternatively if you would like to discuss anything further before that stage, that's fine too.

The details :

Full time positions, 40 hours per week over 4.5 days a week, part-time positions also available

We pay an additional £1,000 per annum for those people who have an Early years qualification that is higher than Level 3 or have SEND Level 3 or Forest School qualification.
